Josephine Lorelle
I’m a textile and surface pattern designer based in Aotearoa, New Zealand and owner of Studio Lorelle, Studio Lorelle – New Zealand’s First Dedicated Textile Pattern Studio.
I create fresh, elegant prints for apparel, products, and home decor, blending hand-painted watercolour inks and hand-painting with digital techniques.
I draw inspiration from the diverse urban flora in New Zealand and most days you can find me wandering, photographing, and enjoying the ever-changing flowers in my local neighbourhood.
With this inspiration I create painterly, textured designs, infusing each piece with graceful movement, visual intrigue and a hint of nostalgia.
I regularly attend international textile shows and am available to show you my collection online as well.

This unique collection brings together the finest artistic talent and the exceptional craftsmanship of Aspiring Walls' printing process to create stunning, one-of-a-kind wallpapers that are made in New Zealand. The wallpapers are available through Resene New Zealand and Guthrie Bowron NZ/ Australia.
